A Family Recipe That Became a Dallas Tradition

Pizzana was born from a simple belief: that extraordinary food doesn't require complicated ingredients — just great ones, handled with care and cooked with love.

In 2012, Marco and Elena Rossi opened the first Pizzana location out of a modest kitchen on Preston Road, serving hand-stretched pizzas and slow-simmered sauces built on generations-old Italian family recipes. Word spread quickly. Neighbors became regulars, regulars became family.

Today, Pizzana is a cornerstone of the Dallas dining scene — but our philosophy hasn't changed. Every dish is crafted fresh each day, every ingredient is sourced thoughtfully, and every guest is welcomed like an old friend. We believe food tastes better when it's made by people who truly care.

2012 — The Beginning

Pizzana Opens Its Doors

Marco and Elena Rossi open the very first Pizzana location on Preston Road, Dallas — a modest 40-seat restaurant with a wood-fired oven and a dream to share authentic Italian flavors with Texas.

2014 — Recognition

Best New Restaurant — Dallas Observer

Just two years in, Pizzana earns "Best New Restaurant" from the Dallas Observer and "Top Pizza in Dallas" from D Magazine, putting us on the map in a big way.

2016 — Expansion

Launching Delivery Citywide

We launched our in-house delivery service, bringing Pizzana's freshly crafted meals to doorsteps across Dallas. Our delivery fleet was built around one promise: hot, fresh, on time.

2018 — Going Green

Sustainability Initiative Launched

Pizzana pledges to eliminate single-use plastics, introduces compostable packaging, and partners with three local farms for 80% of our produce — earning recognition from the Dallas Green Business program.

2020 — Community

Feeding Dallas Together

During the pandemic, Pizzana pivoted quickly to keep staff employed and launched a community meal program, donating over 12,000 meals to Dallas-area frontline workers and families in need.

2023 — Present

A New Chapter Begins
